- Assignment Type: 13-week LPN travel assignment
- Start Date: November 5, 2026
- End Date: February 4, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230-$1,300
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Unit: Adult medical-surgical unit with 13 beds
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5
LPN Job Requirements
- Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience required
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care for adult medical-surgical patients
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an on-site clinical setting
Medical-Surgical LPN Responsibilities
- Assess patients and contribute to individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions, identify changes, and communicate concerns promptly to appropriate care team members
- Administer treatments and medications within the LPN scope of practice and established clinical protocols
- Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, responses, and care-plan updates accurately
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
- Promote professional nursing standards and a positive patient-care environment
- Provide care appropriate to adult and geriatric patient populations
