Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent LPN experience, preferably in medical-surgical, acute care, or hospital nursing
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
• Comfort providing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs
• Current clinical knowledge, professionalism, and adaptability in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients under the direction of the RN and care team
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to support safe, high-quality patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice and facility policies
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and daily patient care needs on the med-surg unit
• Document care accurately and maintain complete patient records in the electronic health record
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient unit environment in a busy acute care hospital
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
