Rehab Registered Nurse – Travel RN Job in Coralville, Iowa
Join a patient-centered rehabilitation team in Coralville, Iowa, and help patients rebuild strength, independence, and confidence. This 13-week travel Registered Nurse (RN) assignment offers a supportive inpatient rehabilitation environment focused on high-quality care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Job Details
- Position: Rehab Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
- Location: Coralville, IA 52241
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- End Date: 12/28/2026
- Unit Focus: Inpatient rehabilitation
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 6 months of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred, but not required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current state certification and required mandatory reporter training
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written English proficiency
- Basic computer skills and comfort using electronic health records (EHR)
- Team-oriented, cooperative, and patient-focused attitude
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to rehabilitation patients
- Support patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, trauma, and other complex conditions
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support recovery goals
- Promote safety, comfort, and independence throughout the rehabilitation process
- Deliver professional, team-focused care in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting
