• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800-$1,890
• Setting: Rehab unit with floating as needed to other appropriate units based on facility need and RN scope
• Additional Needs: Call required depending on census
• Start Date: 10/26/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Rehab nursing or med-surg experience strongly preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Associate’s degree in nursing or equivalent education
• Comfort working with standard nursing documentation and EMR systems
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments and changing patient needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to rehab patients in collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary team members
• Assess patients, develop nursing care plans, and document interventions and outcomes
• Administer medications and perform patient tests within RN scope of practice
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Promote patient independence through education on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Support safe, high-quality care while adapting to floating assignments such as Swing, MedSurg, and Stepdown as needed
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care, manage workflow, and respond to changing patient census
