Help patients regain strength, independence, and confidence in a modern inpatient rehabilitation setting. This rewarding Registered Nurse opportunity supports recovery from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury while using EPIC charting.
Job Details
- Position: Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation nursing
- Location: Coralville, Iowa
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800-$1,890
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Requirements
- Active RN certification or current Iowa nursing license
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- BLS certification required
- Child and Adult Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification required
- Strong basic computer skills and comfort using electronic health records
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Cooperative, team-oriented attitude with a patient-centered approach
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality rehabilitation nursing care to patients
- Support patients recovering from complex injuries and medical conditions
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and communicate changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized recovery goals
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and progress throughout the rehabilitation journey
- Maintain timely documentation and workflow in EPIC
- Deliver care in a supportive environment focused on recovery, function, and quality of life
