- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Location: Quincy, California
- Healthcare Setting: Outpatient clinic
- Employment Type: 13-week travel nursing assignment
- Start Date: October 9, 2026
- End Date: January 8, 2027
- Nursing Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience
- Current California LVN license or interim LVN permit
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program with an associate degree or equivalent education
- Current CPR certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and electronic health record documentation
- Ability to apply sound clinical judgment, prioritize work, and remain flexible in a busy outpatient healthcare environment
LPN/LVN Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide professional, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic environment
- Support disease prevention, health maintenance, and continuity of care
- Collaborate with clinical staff, front office personnel, and other departments to address patient and family needs
- Assess patient needs and apply appropriate clinical judgment when planning care
- Educate and instruct patients and families regarding care plans and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
