Travel CT Technologist Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Hospital radiology and medical imaging department
CT Technologist and Radiologic Technologist Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist in a hospital or comparable acute-care setting
- ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current seasonal influenza vaccination required from October 1 through April 1; exemptions are not accepted
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, maintain imaging accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and follow radiation-safety and patient-safety protocols
- Travel professionals must meet applicable assignment distance requirements
Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations and general radiologic imaging procedures according to established protocols
- Provide medical imaging support for oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency, outpatient, and specialty care services
- Perform fluoroscopy, operating room, orthopedic, X-ray, and CT procedures as needed
- Prepare patients, verify clinical information, explain procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation throughout examinations
- Operate CT and other imaging equipment safely and efficiently while producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with department, regulatory, and radiation-safety standards
