Travel RN Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650-$2,790
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- End Date: January 10, 2027
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m.
- Scheduling Option: 3×12 or 4×12 scheduling may be available
- Patient Population: Mixed-acuity emergency, trauma, behavioral health, boarding, and critically ill patients
- Typical Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6
Travel Emergency Department RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience after orientation
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong critical-care assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and responsive in a dynamic, high-acuity emergency care environment
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with a broad range of emergency and critical-care needs
- Rapidly assess, triage, monitor, and intervene for patients with changing or unstable conditions
- Manage complex cases involving emergency and trauma care, behavioral health, boarding patients, and ICU-level acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly communicate changes in condition
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support efficient patient flow throughout the Emergency Department
- Demonstrate flexibility and sound clinical judgment while caring for a diverse patient population
