Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400-$2,570
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel radiologic technologist contract
• Location: Brownwood, Texas
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• End Date: February 1, 2027
• Schedule: Day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• Shift: 8-hour days, approximately 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; hours may vary slightly based on patient scheduling
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours
• Call: Approximately 10-15 shifts per month with self-scheduling and no set rotation
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
• Clinical Setting: Cardiac catheterization laboratory with peripheral vascular and select interventional radiology cases

Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or closely related cardiovascular service line
• Current ARRT(R) or RCIS credential accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with left-heart and right-heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and peripheral vascular procedures
• Proficiency with cardiac and vascular procedural support, including stent placement and thrombolysis or thrombectomy
• Experience with pacemaker procedures, including permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion and change-outs
• Active license or credential in hand at the time of submission
• Travel healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required
• Ability to complete required compliance and laboratory items within established onboarding timelines

Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support left-heart and right-heart catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Assist with peripheral vascular procedures and selected interventional radiology cases
• Support permanent and temporary pacemaker insertions, replacements, and related procedures
• Prepare patients, imaging equipment, and procedural areas while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
• Perform and document required imaging and technical procedures in accordance with department standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
• Participate in scheduled call coverage and respond to urgent procedural needs
