Travel Nursing Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Dates: November 23, 2026-January 16, 2027
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Oklahoma or a valid multistate RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery or maternal-child health
- Graduate of an approved professional nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Proof of instruction or successful completion of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Epic electronic health record experience strongly preferred; experience in comparable clinical settings is beneficial
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, patient care, and documentation skills
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal condition and respond appropriately to changing patient needs
- Organize and prioritize nursing care according to patient acuity, Labor & Delivery unit guidelines, and established standards
- Perform nursing skills appropriate to the Labor & Delivery patient population
- Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and progress accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
- Provide patient education and support discharge planning while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors
- Delegate appropriately and communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Make timely referrals and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support positive maternal and newborn outcomes
- Recognize and address patient or unit needs using sound professional judgment
- Participate in quality improvement activities, required education, in-services, and accurate variance reporting
