Travel RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,070-$3,230
- Location: Hampton, Virginia

- End Date: February 8, 2027
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
- Shift: 8-hour daytime shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Additional Requirement: Participation in scheduled call coverage required
Cath Lab Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to practice in Virginia
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; Cath Lab, critical care, or procedural nursing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety practices
- Ability to monitor patients throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure recovery phases of care
- Strong patient assessment, communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work scheduled daytime shifts and participate in required call coverage
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related diagnostic or interventional procedures
- Complete patient assessments, review clinical histories, and prepare patients for cardiac procedures
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, sedation levels, and patient responses throughout procedures
- Assist the cardiac catheterization team with equipment preparation, sterile technique, and clinical interventions
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or potential procedural complications
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders and established protocols
- Provide post-procedure monitoring, patient education, and discharge support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in scheduled Cath Lab call coverage as assigned
