Job Details
- Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long-Term Care
- Location: Gunnison, Colorado
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel CNA assignment
- Assignment Dates: October 5, 2026 – January 4, 2027
- Shift: Nights, 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 12-hour overnight shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $890-$960
- Openings: 3
- Work Setting: On-site long-term care and senior care facility
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a senior care setting
- Current CNA certification eligible for practice in Colorado
- Ability to provide safe, respectful, and compassionate resident care
- Ability to work scheduled overnight 12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours
- Successful completion of a Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check
- Reliable transportation is required due to the rural location and limited public transportation in Gunnison
Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to long-term care residents according to established care procedures
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, independence, and safety
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising nurse
- Assist with repositioning, transfers, ambulation, and other supportive care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and individualized care instructions
- Collaborate with nurses and the broader healthcare team to support individualized resident care plans
