Travel Med-Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Night Shift Contract in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
- Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing
- Active, permanent Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license in hand
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Active NIHSS certification
- Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the medical-surgical telemetry specialty
- Ability to complete required pre-employment screening and time-sensitive background requirements
- Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients during overnight shifts
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly recognize and escalate changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, policies, and professional nursing standards
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate timely patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support a safe, organized patient-care environment
