Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Job Title: X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist
• Location: Middle Township, NJ, Cape May County
• Setting: Hospital; on-site imaging department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770-$1,900
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 16, 2027
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Current Schedule: Sunday 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Monday 9:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., and Thursday 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every Sunday is required; Saturdays are not required. Weekday assignments may vary, so schedule flexibility is important.

X-Ray Technologist Job Requirements

• ARRT certification is required.
• At least 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist.
• Previous hospital operating room experience with C-arm equipment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with fluoroscopy, portable X-Ray units, and general radiographic techniques.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and patient-centered care.
• Flexibility to work the required Sunday schedule and changing weekday assignments.

Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Operate C-arm equipment during surgical and operating room procedures.
• Provide fluoroscopy support for appropriate procedures.
• Perform portable X-Ray examinations throughout the hospital.
• Complete general X-Ray studies with attention to patient positioning, image quality, and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to support timely patient care.
• Follow radiation protection practices and maintain accurate examination documentation.
