LPN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350-$1,420
- Location: Greenwood, Indiana
- Healthcare Setting: On-site inpatient rehabilitation
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 6:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Assignment End Date: January 4, 2027
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Work Arrangement: On-site
Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure eligible for practice in Indiana
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a comparable patient-care setting preferred
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care during overnight nursing shifts
- Strong communication, organization, clinical documentation, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to following established clinical standards, care plans, and patient-safety practices
Inpatient Rehabilitation Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in health status, and communicate concerns promptly to appropriate care team members
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders, facility policies, and applicable standards of practice
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while encouraging progress toward greater independence and functional recovery
- Collaborate with registered nurses, rehabilitation professionals, providers, patients, and families to support individualized care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, responses to treatment, and other required clinical information
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
