- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 5:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- On-Call: Required, including every other weekend and every other holiday; cancellation may apply
- Openings: 1
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040-$2,150
Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in Women’s Health, Labor and Delivery, or a Birth Center
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license or eligibility to practice in Illinois
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification or demonstrated competency
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in the required on-call rotation
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and commitment to compassionate patient- and family-centered care
Women’s Health RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to women, newborns, and families in the Birth Center
- Perform patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care according to patient needs and established protocols
- Monitor fetal and maternal status and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and treatments, maintain accurate documentation, and evaluate patient responses
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout the care experience
- Respond effectively to urgent clinical situations, including neonatal and obstetric emergencies
- Collaborate with providers and nursing colleagues to promote high-quality outcomes and continuity of care
