Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030-$2,190
- Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
- Assignment Type: Travel healthcare assignment
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital imaging department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 10:30 a.m.-9:00 p.m., Thursday through Sunday
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Call: Approximately 4 days of call per month
- Position Type: On-site
CT Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, CT Tech, or Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Experience performing both CT and general X-ray procedures
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current state licensure as a general radiographer, as applicable
- Ability to provide safe, accurate, and timely diagnostic imaging services in accordance with departmental protocols
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, contrast-enhanced CT studies, and sterile or surgical procedures
Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations of the head, brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
- Complete routine radiographic procedures for inpatient and outpatient patients
- Perform fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging as needed
- Conduct CT studies with and without contrast media while following established patient and imaging safety protocols
- Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures using appropriate imaging guidance
- Process CT studies accurately and ensure diagnostic-quality images for radiologist interpretation
- Provide professional, timely, and compassionate patient care throughout each examination
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
