Travel Healthcare Job Details

Certified Surgical Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of operating room or perioperative experience
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or NCCT
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work four 10-hour day shifts and participate in scheduled call coverage
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location, per travel assignment requirements
Operating Room Technician Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases and follow infection-control protocols
- Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team during procedures
- Assist with surgical counts, specimen handling, room turnover, and postoperative room preparation
- Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the perioperative team
- Support safe, efficient patient care while following established operating room and surgical procedures
- Participate in scheduled call coverage as assigned
