ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Jobs – Per Diem 12-Hour Night Shifts in Williamsburg, VA

ICU RN Job Details
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing
- Location: Williamsburg, VA 23188
- Setting: On-site hospital environment
- Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 12-hour overnight shifts
- Schedule: Per diem; must work at least one shift per month to remain active in the per diem pool
- Orientation: Must be available Monday through Friday
- Assignment Dates: September 22, 2026 – September 22, 2027
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020-$2,130
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience
- At least 2 years of professional RN experience
- Must be a local clinician
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight nursing shifts
- Availability to complete weekday orientation
Critical Care Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes in clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and evaluate patient care plans
- Manage and monitor complex equipment and life-support therapies within the scope of practice
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and quality outcomes throughout each shift
