Interventional Radiology Travel Nurse RN – 12-Week Contract in St. Petersburg, Florida
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a 12-week travel nursing contract in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. Travel Nursing Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Start Date: August 11, 2026
- End Date: November 3, 2026
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks
- Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours, with 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation
Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in interventional radiology, radiology, procedural care, or a comparable acute-care setting
- Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work day shifts and participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as required by the facility or applicable practice standards
- Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care
Interventional Radiology Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders, protocols, and scope of practice
- Monitor vital signs, patient responses, and recovery status, escalating changes promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists, procedural staff, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up instructions
- Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and adherence to established procedural standards
