Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Asheville, North Carolina

Travel Nursing Job Details

Pediatric Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in pediatric nursing or a pediatric hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and care for pediatric patients
- Strong pediatric clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day shifts in an on-site hospital environment
Pediatric Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and identify changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established orders, safety standards, and clinical protocols
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized pediatric nursing care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Educate pediatric patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and ongoing care needs
- Document assessments, nursing interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
