CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Lake Worth, FL 33462
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730-$1,860
• Employment Type: Travel CT technologist contract
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• End Date: January 11, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Call Coverage: Approximately 4-6 shifts per month on scheduled days off
• Dress Code: Black scrubs; candidates provide their own

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist or Computed Tomography Technologist experience in a hospital or acute-care setting
• ARRT certification in computed tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Florida Department of Health license or applicable state authorization to practice
• Experience with GE CT imaging equipment strongly preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, imaging technologists, and patients

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to established imaging protocols and provider orders
• Produce high-quality computed tomography images of bones, organs, and soft tissues for diagnostic evaluation
• Operate CT scanners and related diagnostic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare and position patients while providing clear instructions and compassionate patient care
• Verify patient information, imaging orders, and relevant clinical history before procedures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate with radiologists and the broader radiology team to support timely patient care
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, patient privacy, and department quality standards
• Support additional imaging services, including X-ray and related diagnostic procedures, as assigned
• Participate in scheduled call coverage and respond appropriately to urgent imaging needs
