Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Cleveland, Ohio
Join a 13-week Cleveland, Ohio travel nursing contract and bring your telemetry expertise to a collaborative hospital team. Travel RN Job Details

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Shift Times: Days, approximately 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m.; nights, approximately 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
- Schedule Flexibility: Rotating day/night assignments may be required based on operational needs
- Holiday Requirement: Work at least every other holiday
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements
- At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Recent specialty reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation; an acceptable score is required
- Ability to meet required health screening, background check, and facility compliance standards
- COVID-19 and influenza vaccination are required; medical or religious exemptions may be considered
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, cardiac monitoring, and telemetry nursing skills
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments while following current clinical standards and medication-safety protocols
- Complete comprehensive patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and patient education
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Support patients with complex medical and post-surgical needs, including transplant-related care when applicable
- Float to comparable units and the Emergency Department as needed to care for the same patient population
- Participate in orientation, required competency assessments, and ongoing professional education
