Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Diagnostic Radiology in Nashville, TN
Join a collaborative outpatient imaging team as a Travel Radiologic Technologist in Nashville, Tennessee. Radiologic Technologist Job Details
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,760-$1,890
- Assignment Type: Travel radiology contract
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: February 8, 2027
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Healthcare Setting: Outpatient physician office
- Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; 8-hour day shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Openings: 2
Travel Rad Tech Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Rad Tech, or X-ray Technologist
- Valid Tennessee X-ray Machine Operator (XMO) license in hand required for consideration
- Radiologic Technology certification or equivalent credential
- Experience performing diagnostic radiology procedures in an outpatient imaging or physician-office environment is preferred
- Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff
Diagnostic Radiology Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations clearly, and promote a comfortable patient experience
- Position patients accurately and operate X-ray and diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Review radiographic images for quality and completeness before submitting them for interpretation
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow applicable safety, quality, and radiation-protection standards
- Collaborate with physicians and office staff to support efficient patient flow and timely care
