Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract in Nantucket, Massachusetts
Travel Physical Therapist opportunity in Nantucket, MA, providing outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine care on a four-day schedule.

Travel Physical Therapist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
- Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
- Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapy / Sports Medicine
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: Start times between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.; daytime schedule aligned with 8-hour shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week

Physical Therapist Job Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license
- At least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong patient assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative rehabilitation team
Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic, sports medicine, and functional mobility concerns
- Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and other appropriate rehabilitation interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility
- Maintain accurate and timely physical therapy documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
