Travel RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Location: Muskegon, Michigan
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
- Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 10, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shift Hours: 3:00 PM-3:30 AM
- Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Emergency Room Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current clinical credentials and certifications required for Emergency Department practice
- Ability to work scheduled night shifts, alternating weekends, and alternating holidays
- Strong patient assessment, clinical prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide safe, efficient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency healthcare setting
Travel Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and prioritize care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established Emergency Department protocols
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and promptly communicate significant findings to the multidisciplinary care team
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record
- Provide clear patient and family education while supporting a positive emergency care experience
- Maintain readiness to respond effectively in a dynamic, high-acuity Emergency Department environment
