Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Muskegon, Michigan
Bring your emergency nursing expertise to a 13-week travel nurse assignment in Muskegon, Michigan. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
- Location: Muskegon, Michigan
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 10, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Emergency Room RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
- At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize patients in a fast-paced emergency care setting
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Completion of required professional credentials, health screening, and competency verification before the travel assignment begins
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and promptly identify changes in patient condition
- Provide safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments, initiate appropriate interventions, and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely evaluation and patient disposition
- Prioritize care effectively while managing multiple patients in a dynamic emergency department
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
- Educate patients and families while delivering compassionate care during stressful circumstances
