Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Show Low, Arizona
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- End Date: January 11, 2027
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Shift Time: 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Healthcare Setting: Acute-care emergency department
- Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per day
- Department Features: 30 private emergency rooms, a six-bed observation unit, six fast-track beds, a seclusion room, and five additional monitored rooms
- Documentation System: Allscripts Sunrise
Emergency Room RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Arizona
- At least 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Previous emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- TNCC certification
- Ability to provide safe, efficient nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting
Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to trauma, cardiac, neurological, and other acute-care patients
- Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments safely using established protocols
- Collaborate with providers, technicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate timely patient care
- Provide care across emergency, observation, fast-track, and monitored treatment areas as assigned
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
