MRI Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
- Healthcare Specialty: MRI Technologist

- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Contract Length: 12 weeks, with possible extension
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Call: No call required
- Weekends and Holidays: Not required
- Orientation: 16 hours
MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional MRI Technologist or MRI Tech experience
- Current MRI Technologist certification or registration appropriate for practice
- Radiology credentials and any required Ohio licensing or registration
- Ability to safely operate MRI equipment and follow established diagnostic imaging protocols
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Travel healthcare experience is not required
MRI Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols, patient care guidelines, and MRI safety standards
- Screen patients for MRI safety considerations, implants, contraindications, and relevant medical history
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures while providing clear explanations and reassurance
- Operate MRI equipment, maintain diagnostic image quality, and recognize the need for repeat or additional images
- Document MRI procedures accurately and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the appropriate clinical team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital imaging environment
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other members of the hospital healthcare team
