Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540
- Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2+ years of acute med/surg nursing experience within the last year
- Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Telemetry nursing experience and strong clinical assessment skills preferred
- Ortho nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Comfort working in an EHR environment; Meditech experience is helpful
- Friendly, positive, and patient-centered mindset
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for telemetry and med/surg ortho patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Perform standard nursing skills such as IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with hospital protocols
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the EHR
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Float to med/surg units as needed
- Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment
