Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehab experience
• Strong preference for neuro rehabilitation experience
• Experience working with adult and neuro patient populations
• Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and problem-solve in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Comfort using rehab equipment such as Hoyer lifts, Vector, and LiteGait
• Blue or black scrubs

Physical Therapy Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans to support recovery and functional gains
• Provide therapy for diagnoses including stroke, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and other adult rehab needs
• Support gait training, transfer training, stair climbing, balance work, strengthening, endurance, and mobility goals
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective, patient-centered rehabilitation
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans based on functional outcomes
• Help patients regain confidence and return safely to home and community life
