Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Weatherford, TX
Travel Med/Surg RN opportunity in Weatherford, Texas, just west of Fort Worth in the Dallas-Fort Worth healthcare market. Join a fast-paced inpatient Medical-Surgical team and use your Meditech experience to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on 12-hour night shifts.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 04/27/2026
- Location: Weatherford, TX
- Setting: Medical-Surgical inpatient unit
- Documentation System: Meditech experience required
- Floating: As needed
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Meditech experience required
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing patient needs
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safe, compassionate inpatient care
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
- Complete patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders and best practices
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Support patient safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes
- Float as needed based on unit and patient care needs
