- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Location: Madison, WI — a welcoming Wisconsin healthcare hub known for its lakes, parks, vibrant downtown, and strong nursing community.
- Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs; floating required as needed
Job Requirements
- 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in an inpatient hospital setting
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact RN license
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Epic EHR charting experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must successfully pass a telemetry exam prior to start
- Comfortable providing care for adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to float as needed and work weekend/holiday rotations
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care environment
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and support common med-surg interventions and treatments
- Assist with IV therapy, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and wound care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
- Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care coverage
- Complete pre-start telemetry testing successfully prior to assignment start
