Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Columbus, Ohio

- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
- Location: Columbus, OH 43210
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Shift: Variable schedule with day/evening coverage; typically 10-hour days
- Call: Required, including weekday and weekend coverage as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 – $2,400
- Orientation: Provided at onboarding
- Float: May be required within the organization as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Experience in a Level I trauma environment
- Ability to scrub is required
- Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic cases is required
- Liver transplant experience is required
- Experience in at least one of the following service lines: Neuro or Ortho
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
- Strong adaptability, professionalism, and comfort working in a high-acuity surgical setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting
- Scrub and circulate for a broad range of surgical procedures
- Support complex cases including trauma, robotic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, neurosurgical, transplant, and other specialty surgeries
- Assist with care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to maintain safe, efficient workflows
- Participate in call coverage and weekend scheduling as assigned
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach in a high-volume surgical environment
- Adapt to floating assignments and unit needs across the organization
