Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Travel Nurse Job in Mayfield Heights, Ohio

- Shift: Day shift, 4×10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Call Requirement: 1-2 call shifts per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 – $1,970
- Location: Mayfield Heights, OH 44124
Job Requirements
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Operating Room specialty
- Vascular surgery experience required
- Active BLS certification required
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Willingness to complete required compliance documentation and pre-start modules
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Support vascular surgery cases and assist with a variety of surgical procedures
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and respond to changing clinical needs
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the OR team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in orientation, required testing, and ongoing competency expectations
