Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of combined Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Must hold a permanent Ohio RN license or compact license
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit needs
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- All required certifications must be active and in hand at submission
- Must be able to complete required onboarding assessments during orientation
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards and provider orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient care goals
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Deliver compassionate patient education and support throughout the care process
- Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced clinical setting
