Job Details
- Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
- Type: Travel Contract | Travel Nursing Job
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44111
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Orientation: Approximately 16 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or equivalent acute care experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
- Ability to successfully complete required orientation assessments
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a telemetry-based hospital environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document patient care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery goals, and discharge needs
- Prioritize patient safety, clinical quality, and timely communication during night shift operations
