- Schedule Notes: Day shift coverage with possible variations in start/end times
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Operating Room specialty
- OR circulator experience required; scrub experience preferred
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- References from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required
- Certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission
- Must complete required assessments during orientation and meet passing standards
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply, with only approved medical or religious exemptions
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled circulating RN support in the operating room
- Assist surgical teams in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered perioperative care
- Support surgical procedures with strong attention to detail and sterile technique
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established OR protocols
- Contribute to a smooth workflow throughout the surgical day
- Deliver compassionate care while helping ensure excellent patient outcomes
