Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Travel Assignment in Conroe, Texas

Job Details
- Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Conroe, TX 77304
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4
- Charting System: Meditech EMR
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred in acute care, emergency medicine, or a similar high-acuity setting
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required
- Strong critical thinking, compassion, and team-focused communication skills
- Comfort working in a dynamic, high-volume Emergency Department
- Experience with emergency nursing equipment, protocols, and patient stabilization preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients with varying levels of acuity
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, and other essential ER nursing procedures
- Assist with moderate sedation and rapid-response interventions as needed
- Support treatment for complex and urgent cases using established emergency department protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and fellow registered nurses to deliver efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support seamless use of the Meditech EMR
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
