Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Assignment in Asheville, North Carolina

- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department, Emergency Room, or acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
- Comfort working overnight shifts in a busy clinical environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients while responding quickly to changing clinical needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe, effective care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Maintain a calm, organized approach while delivering care in a high-volume emergency nursing environment
