Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry | Cleveland, Ohio
Overview
Travel RN Med/Surg Telemetry opportunity in Cleveland, OH. Join a fast-paced acute care team and provide high-quality patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit while strengthening your telemetry skills in one of Northeast Ohio’s leading healthcare hubs.
In this 13-week travel nursing assignment, you’ll care for adult patients in a dynamic hospital environment, collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team, and support patient recovery in the Cleveland healthcare market near downtown Cleveland and Lake Erie.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195
- Setting: Acute care Med/Surg Telemetry unit with opportunity to support similar patient populations
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or a closely related specialty
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
- Strong ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring skills
- Ability to successfully complete safeMedicate and rhythm recognition testing during orientation
- One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months
- Flexible and comfortable working a rotating schedule to meet unit needs
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and carry out ordered treatments
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and continuity of care
- Float as needed to similar units caring for the same patient population
- Support complex patient needs, including cases that may require ventilator support
- Maintain a calm, professional presence in a busy acute care environment
