ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job in Corpus Christi, Texas

- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Start Date: 10/26/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license or compact state RN license
- BLS certification from AHA required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- 1 year of critical care or ICU experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Epic EHR experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work independently in a critical care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients with complex and evolving needs
- Perform assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring effectiveness and side effects
- Document patient status, symptoms, care provided, and response to treatment in the electronic health record
- Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, and other healthcare professionals to manage changing clinical situations
- Deliver high-quality critical care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intensive nursing support
