Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Janesville, WI
Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Janesville, Wisconsin. - Location: Janesville, WI 53546 — a welcoming Wisconsin community with a friendly small-city feel and convenient amenities.
- Shift: Night shift, 3×12-hour schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Charting System: EPIC
- Float Expectation: May float within scope to support other units as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and NRP required
- EPIC experience required
- Preferred certifications: STABLE, AWHONN, and ACLS
- Experience with antepartum, L&D, LDRP, mother/baby, and level 1 nursery care
- Ability to support a variety of obstetric and newborn care procedures
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holiday rotation as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean recovery, and high-risk obstetric support
- Monitor fetal heart patterns and complete essential obstetric assessments
- Support antepartum, triage, and mother/baby patient care within scope
- Perform and assist with procedures such as IV starts, sterile vaginal exams, and newborn assessments
- Educate and support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow established unit protocols
