Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse – Columbus, Ohio

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
- 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required
- Current acute care experience in the specialty within the last 12 months required
- BLS certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Oncology nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable caring for high-acuity adult and geriatric patients
- Professional references required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical oncology patients in a Med Surg Telemetry setting
- Monitor telemetry, assess changes in patient condition, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Support infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety best practices
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and unit protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Perform and support common med-surg/telemetry skills such as line care, PCA management, CBI monitoring, and dysrhythmia observation
- Float to equivalent or lower acuity Med Surg Tele units as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
