Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery | Santa Rosa, CA
Join a rewarding Labor & Delivery travel nurse assignment in Santa Rosa, California. This 13-week Registered Nurse opportunity allows you to care for mothers and newborns in a fast-paced maternal newborn nursing environment while enjoying the beauty of Northern California.

- Shift: Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- End Date: January 4, 2027
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,570 – $2,710
- On-Call: As needed
- Weekend Requirement: No scheduled weekend requirement
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby care environment
Job Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- AWHONN certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
- Experience caring for diverse patient age groups, including neonates and adults
- Ability to work night shifts in a dynamic, team-based healthcare setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Support patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Respond to changing patient needs with sound clinical judgment and professionalism
- May assist with guiding and supporting other nursing and clinical team members as needed
