- Assignment Type: Travel MRI Technologist job
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evenings
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Call: Every other week from Friday end of shift through Monday 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 40
MRI Technologist Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification accepted
- BLS certification required
- Siemens MRI experience strongly preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work evening shifts and participate in scheduled call coverage
- Must be able to provide required documentation by the specified deadline
- Pending license may be accepted with submission, but must be active before start
- RTO must be submitted with application; holidays may be required
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly and compassionately
- Operate MRI equipment safely and accurately, following established radiology protocols
- Support imaging for a broad patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Maintain excellent patient care, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout each shift
- Collaborate with radiology team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely studies
- Follow safety standards, infection control practices, and contrast/media preparation procedures as needed
- Participate in call coverage every other week as scheduled
