- Shift: Day shift, 4×10-hour schedule (07:30 – 16:00 or 09:30 – 18:00)
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Hours Per Week: 40
- On-Call: Required every 4 to 5 weekends
- Orientation: 32 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adolescents and adults
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional cardiac cath lab
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Experience with structural heart and CTO procedures preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with the required experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural and cardiovascular environment
- RTO must be provided at the time of submission
- Valid state license or certification required at submission
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist with structural heart cases and advanced cardiovascular interventions
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, IVUS, Coroflow, Rotablade, and coronary/peripheral lithotripsy systems
- Prepare access sites and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Monitor hemodynamics and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
- Perform circulator and scrub functions as needed
- Assist with equipment setup, inventory, and room readiness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Float across campuses as needed to support department coverage
