- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 – $2,100
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Patient Population: Oncology / Hematology
- Work Setting: Outpatient clinical environment
- Location Highlights: Northwest Indiana with convenient access to the greater Chicago area
Job Requirements
- Active RN license required
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- BLS certification required
- 3+ years of oncology nursing experience required
- Experience in ambulatory care, outpatient oncology, or hematology preferred
- Strong communication skills and a professional, team-oriented approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced oncology clinic supporting multiple providers
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Take and document vital signs accurately
- Support a team of 4 providers with day-to-day patient flow
- Provide nursing care for oncology and hematology patients in an ambulatory setting
- Help maintain efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate, and organized patient care
- Deliver high-quality clinical support in a busy outpatient oncology setting
