This 13-week travel nursing assignment is ideal for a Registered Nurse with cardiac/telemetry experience who is confident in rhythm interpretation, cardiac medication management, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The unit is known for strong staff support, excellent employee satisfaction, and a collaborative care model.
Job Details
- Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 – $1,630
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- Setting: Cardiac Med-Surg / Telemetry
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Cardiac and telemetry experience required
- Ability to identify EKG rhythms confidently
- Experience with cardiac medications and IV drips preferred
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Telemetry certification required
- Meditech experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care to adult Med/Surg patients with cardiac needs
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
- Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips as ordered
- Collaborate with charge nurses, nursing assistants, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care in the Meditech electronic health record
- Respond to changing patient conditions and escalate concerns appropriately
- Participate in unit scheduling expectations, including weekend rotation
- Maintain a professional appearance in navy blue scrubs
