- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Unit Highlights: Telemetry monitoring, strong charge nurse support, and a well-organized team environment
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Med/Surg or telemetry experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong cardiac and telemetry knowledge with EKG rhythm identification skills
- Experience with cardiac medications and drips preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend scheduling as needed
- Navy blue scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to cardiac Med/Surg patients
- Monitor telemetry and interpret EKG rhythms accurately
- Administer and manage cardiac medications and drips as ordered
- Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and the healthcare team to support excellent patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support a positive, patient-centered unit culture
